Our vision for River Valley Running is really quite simple: to foster a community of health and wellness via a shop that welcomes runners, walkers, and anyone who values unsurpassed customer service and a friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We offer Mankato and Southern Minnesota a unique experience, complete with gait analysis and foot assessments. You will leave our shop feeling motivated, inspired, and very comfortable in your new professionally fit kicks! We are a full-service specialty running and walking shop for anyone who wants a professional fit, sound and applicable advice, and unsurpassed customer service.

Every person who walks through our doors will feel welcomed and encouraged. You don’t have to be a runner to benefit from our products and services. Proper footwear is essential for everyone, whether you work on your feet all day, are experiencing ailments or injuries, or simply desire professionally fit footwear for everyday use. We offer video gait analysis, standing gait analysis, a foot impression system, and a foot-type assessment. These services are free of charge with no appointment necessary.

An accurate initial analysis allows our expert staff to recommend footwear that meets your individual needs. We also offer a wide variety of performance apparel, accessories, and nutrition/energy products.
