Q: What happens with Sales Tax or Gratuity (for services or restaurants) when redeeming certificates?

A: Bearer will pay all applicable sales tax when redeeming certificate and/or appropriately tip servers/businesses when appropriate. Any unused portion of your certificate is NOT an applicable tip.

Q: Can I use part of my certificate one day and the rest on another day?

A: No, certificates must be redeemed in full, there is no cash back or change given, no carry over, and no credit balances.

Q: Can I gift a certificate even if it has my name on it?

A: All certificates are usually fully transferable, however checking with the business first is always our suggestion. The best option would be to select "certificate is a gift" upon checkout if you know ahead of time that you plan on giving it away.     

Q: The business I bought my certificate for has closed, can I get a refund? 

A: Radio Mankato will provide you with a credit to your Big Deals account for the total you paid, within 90 days of the date you bought the certificate. After 90 days we are not responsible for any certificate that is unused to a business that has closed.

Q: My certificate had an expiration, and I forgot to use it within those dates, can you extend it?

A: Unfortunately, no, any expiration dates on a certificate are set strictly by the business, not by us.

Q: What is your return policy?

A:  Due to the discounted prices of our offerings we do not allow items to be returned. All sales are final so be certain of your purchase before you buy.

Q: I lost/misplaced my certificates, can you send me a new one?

A: Sorry, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or mutilated certificates, please treat them like cash.

Q: It seems like my certificate has a lot of restrictions, do you set these conditions?

A: No, each business gives us specific guidelines to set as restrictions such as "One certificate per table" "One certificate per person, per visit" or "certificate subject to blackout dates." All bearers must respect and follow restrictions set by businesses.

Q: What does "temporarily out of stock" mean compared to "sold out"?

A: Some items are limited by the business to only sell a certain number of certificates per month. "temporarily out of stock" would mean that this item has reached it's sell limit for that month and will most likely be available again the following month. "Sold out" means the item is completely gone and may or may not be replenished again.
